Cursor

Cursor is an AI-first code editor. By overriding the OpenAI base URL in Cursor's settings, you can route its AI features through Qubax and access any of 340+ models.

Setup steps

1. 1

   Open Cursor Settings

   In Cursor, go to Settings → Models (Cursor menu → Settings → Models on macOS, or File → Preferences → Settings → Models on Windows/Linux).

   Find the OpenAI API Key section

   Scroll to the "OpenAI API Key" input in the models settings page.

   Override the OpenAI Base URL

   Enable the "Override OpenAI Base URL" toggle.

   Paste the Base URL

   Enter https://api.qubax.ai/v1 as the override base URL.

   Paste your API key

   Enter your Qubax API key (starts with qbx_live_) into the OpenAI API Key field.

   Add the Model

   In the "Add Model" field, type gpt-5 and add it to your model list.

   Click Verify

   Click the "Verify" button to confirm the connection. A green check means Cursor can reach Qubax.
